An all-new, second location for Visalli’s Farm Market will open this month in Elmer, New Jersey. It’s a big year for the Visalli family as they celebrate 100 years of farming in Mullica Hill—the site of their original farm and the location of their first farm stand, which is still operating since the 1950s.
The new Visalli’s Farm Market location in Elmer is at 737 Route 40, very close to the Pole Tavern Circle, where a new Super Wawa is currently under construction.

While the exact 2026 opening dates are not yet finalized, Visalli’s Farm Market expects the Mullica Hill location to open in mid-March (soon!), with the new Elmer location opening about two weeks later, near the end of the month. Follow their Facebook page for the latest updates.
I recently heard from Mike Visalli, who shared that the original Mullica Hill location is a fourth-generation family farm and market, offering the freshest produce along with a full farm market, garden center, and gourmet foods.

Mike’s great-grandparents purchased the Route 322 Mullica Hill farm back in 1926 after working the land for three years under the previous owners. His grandparents later started the farm market in the 1950s.
Today, the farm operates primarily as a direct-to-consumer farm. The freshest produce you can buy!
Now the 4th generation, Mike and his family took over the farm market during the COVID pandemic and have been steadily growing the business ever since—leading to the expansion with this second location opening in Elmer.

This is an awesome turn of events for the beloved farm market.. back in 2005 there was a small fire that saw the market closed for a few years… the community thought they had lost the Visalli’s Farm Market for good! But then the next generations stepped in to reopen the Mullica Hill location and make it thrive again, leading to the second location in Elmer.
Customers visiting Visalli’s Farm Markets will find fresh produce, specialty items, baked goods, plants, flowers, dairy, and local meats, wines, honey, and more.

The original Mullica Hill location is on Route 322, just minutes from the Harrison House Diner and the Mullica Hill Amish Market. Customers should expect that location to reopen very soon, likely within the week.

Visalli’s Farm Market – Elmer
The new Elmer farm market is an all-new construction building designed very similar to the original Mullica Hill location.
The Elmer location sits less than a quarter mile from the Pole Tavern Circle, near where the new Super Wawa is being developed. The popular Route 40 Diner is also located at the circle.

This is a great location for the farm market, as it sits in the heart of South Jersey’s farming country. A look at Google satellite maps shows that much of the surrounding region is dedicated to agriculture—placing Visalli’s Farm Market right in the middle of it all.
Customers visiting the Elmer farm market will find a tall, single-story building with three garage-style doors in the front and an extended front porch.

While I haven’t been back recently to see the progress around the property as they get closer to opening, customers can likely expect the fresh produce, plants, and more to extend onto the front patio and surrounding grounds of the Elmer location.
