The Small Business Emergency Assistance Loan Program is low-cost financing to help New Jersey Small business and nonprofit organization with recovery and reopening efforts as a result of COVID-19.

What You Need to Do

  1. Create and Account
    Create and account on the NJEDA’s site before you can register or apply for the loan. If you forgot your unsername and password, you can reset it.
  2. Pre-Register
    After account is created, you MUST pre-register and click SUBMIT. The portal opens 9:00am July 20th and closes at 5:00pm July 30th.
  3. Prepare
    Begin to gather information about owners, information about prior loans or grants applied for and/or received, and supporting documents to indicate what the loan will be used for.
  4. Apply
    The application portal opens at 9:00am on August 3rd and is on a first come, first serve basis.
  5. Look For An Email
    If you are deemed eligible you will receive an email from , to submit more information.

Eligibilty

  • In existence by August 3, 2021
  • $10 million or less in annual revenue
  • Physical location in New Jersey
  • Negatively impacted by COVID-19
  • Registered to do business in New Jersey
  • No tax debts to the State of New Jersey
